Ben brings over a decade of teaching experience across city, regional and rural contexts in both public and independent schools. He is a gifted Teacher and advocates strongly for students to have learning experiences that help to prepare them for the adventure of life.
​
He is wired for efficiency and brings a creative gift to his teaching practice, with a passion for putting resources into the hands of others so they can get the job done.
​
A passionate home barista and and part-time rev head, Ben's other activities involve the raising of two young sons with his wife at their family home in the Riverina Region of NSW.

Known for her creative thinking and ideas, Renelle has worked across the fields of healthcare, arts and design, community development, and vocational education and training (sometimes all at once!).
​
She brings a unique perspective and skillset to the conversation, with a passion for the welfare of teachers as they carry so much and invest into our future generations. This passion generates the creative questions that drive the ideas behind Southland Education.
​
As one woman in a household of active boys, Renelle loves her quiet time, her coffee, and a good Agatha Christie novel!
